A Day at the Field for Ian

Celebrating and reflecting the contribution
Ian Pullar (DAC President 2007-2016)
made to everyone at our club, and raising money for
Royal Flying Doctors Service.

It was a fantastic day, the weather could not have been
better, the events all ran smoothly and the food was delicious. It was a
fitting tribute to Ian, and enormously appreciated by his wife and family.
To all of you who made a contribution, whether by donation of time, money or
simply being there, I pass on my wholehearted thanks and the thanks of the
Pullar family. To those of you who donated items for the auction, I can’t
but say how stunned I was in your generosity, and from the whole DAC
community, thank-you.
So many things stood out as highlights of the day. Walter and his flying
dinosaur had us in stitches, Kendrick bidding against himself at the
auction, Victor coming second in the fun fly, Stan joining us for lunch… the
highlights list could go on.
Thank-you all for making Saturday such a great day, with great people
celebrating the life of a great person.
